Rustic Sprouted Cornbread
Sweet and Savory Cornbread made from our Sprouted Grain Flours
Taste the heartland with this cornbread made from our grains grown, sprouted and stone ground on our family farm in Marysville, Ohio
Ingredients

1/4 cups Rustic Provisions Sprouted Cornmeal
- 3/4 cup Rustic Provisions Sprouted Whole Wheat Flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs - beaten
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix flours with baking powder, salt and sugar until well combined. Add beaten eggs, milk and melted butter to dry ingredients and mix until flour is moistened.
- Pour into a greased 8-inch pan and bake for 25 min, or until top is golden brown and toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm. Enjoy!
